Hiking.fo – sustainable tourism in the Faroese nature.
The purpose of hiking.fo is to be the platform where sustainable tourism offers the traveler a fantastic experience in the Faroese nature with due consideration for continued sustainable use of nature, wildlife, and agriculture, for the local population and applicable legislation.
All tours with an approved tour guide.
In 2019, the two Faroese agricultural associations founded the company behind hiking.fo.
The law states that access to nature requires permission from the landowner. Unfortunately, not all comply with these regulations to the detriment of nature and wildlife. Unfortunately, this has also resulted in a number of injuries, some fatal, where it has been necessary to send rescue teams and helicopters to search for tourists who have been injured or lost.

Hiking.fo : DAY TRIP TO MYKINES – ALL INCLUSIVE
You will go on board the ferry, Jósup, at the ferry port in Sørvágur (2, 380 Bryggjan, Sørvágur, Faroe Islands). Find a parking lot near by and park your car, for free. If you come with bus, the bus will stop a few meters from the ferry.

We provide group tours to Hattarvík - Fugloy. Groups must be minimum 15 participants. The trip starts in Hvannasund at 08:45AM, where we board the ferry "Ritan" en-route to the village Hattarvík on Fugloy. The boattrip takes about 1 hour and 15 minuttes.
