Description
Row out from the autentic and ideel neightbourhood of Gamla Hoyvíkin (Old Hoyvík) where we start out from the quay with a view over to the island of Nólsoy. The trip will take us along Boðanesgjógv, Boðanes and the fantastic view of seeing the capital from sea. This is a unique oppurtunity of being out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean in a small kayak and still having one of the worlds smallest capitals by your side. This is a unique oppurtunity to see the Faroe Islands from a whole new angle.
Along the route we will row into the gorge of Boðanesgjógv where you will have cliffs on both sides while the tide splashes up on the stone wall.
Our experienced kayak guide and isntructor will steer you through the best path and you will also have the oppurtunity to go into Boðanesgjógv which is a unique experience with rocks allaround.
On this tour, you will row in a sea-kayak that is very safe for inexperienced rowers. Your guide will be experienced in all weather conditions and will make sure you take the best possible route depending on the day.

If the weather does not allow to sail out from this location, we will depart from one of our other kayaking locations: Kvívík, Hósvík, Hoyvík, and Tjørnuvík. If we do not contact you in advance we will just meet you in the afore mentioned location.

Meeting point: In Gamla Hoyvíkin, Tórshavn. This is within walking distance from the hotels in the capital
What is included: Kayak, drysuit, kayaking shoes,
What to bring?: One set of changing cloths and practical clothing – preferably whool cloths. We prefer that you dress up in many thin layers underneath the drysuit as the suit it self does not keep you warm, but should keep you dry.
