Description

This trip will take you to the beautiful and picturesque village Gjógv on the northern top og Eysturoy. We will walk along the big gorge which gives the name to the village.

Not so long ago it was used as a natural harbour for the fishermen from the village. From there we will hike to the valley of Ambardal and from the bottom of the valley you have a great view over the cliff Búgvin. On the way we will pass the health source, that runs out of the hill and it will bring you good health if you drink of it.
